Job Description
  • Dealing with and inputting purchase orders, identifying numbers and ensuring goods received notes have been completed and input
  • Inputting of sales invoices and office expenses
  • Identification of customer funds received via online banking
  • Allocation of funds received against customer ledger
  • Production of customer statements
  • Liaising with both the sales team and the customer to give notification of funds received
  • Ensuring outstanding debt is recovered in line with payment terms granted
  • Arrangement and remittances produced for customer and supplier payments
  • Capturing and identifying the different vatable categories
  • Producing and submitting of quarterly returns
  • Producing of trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheets
  • Nominal ledger reporting and journal entries
  • Aiding with license maintenance of customers and suppliers, ensuring they are correct, filed and up to date
  • Ensuring regulatory documents have been submitted on time and recorded

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualification desirable
  • Strong knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage time appropriately
  • Good organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
