Job Description
- Managing the finance department consisting of 2 Accountants and 1 Accounts Assistant
- Preparing monthly board pack including cashflow, budgeting and variance analysis
- Producing monthly querying variances with commercial team
- Preparing year end statutory accounts and working closely with auditors
- Review monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Prepare monthly VAT and CIS returns
- Lead COINS implementation, ensuring best practice and functionality across various modules including Finance, Subcontractor, Commercial and House Sales
- Collaborating with departmental heads across all disciplines to deliver ongoing growth and efficiency
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- With a COINS implementation underway the ideal candidate will have used COINS previously
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified Accountant
- Up to date knowledge of current Construction Industry Scheme tax (CIS) legislations
- Prior experience of working in Construction/Housebuilding
