Job Description
  • Bookkeeping for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
  • Managing payroll and VAT function.
  • Organizing workflows and keeping track of deadlines.
  • Liaising and meeting with clients and dealing with queries.
  • General administration within the company.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A relevant bookkeeping qualification, or qualified by experience.
  • Demonstrable background of working within an accountancy practice.
  • Significant experience in day-to-day bookkeeping, preferably to Trial Balance level.
  • Experience in other ad hoc services, such as VAT returns, payroll, CIS submissions and self assessment.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • A commitment to a long-term career.
  • An ability to manage their own workload.
  • An understanding that there needs to be flexibility to overtime during our busier periods.
  • A full, clean, driving license, and access to their own vehicle.
  • A suitable home office to work in.
