Job Description
- The Financial Controller will work closely with the Finance Director and European Director in overseeing all areas of Finance, and will be responsible for financial controls and procedures, yearly budgets and forecasts, cash flow forecasting .
- The Financial Controller is a high profile role within the business and is a fantastic step to becoming a Financial Director.
- The Financial Controller will work closely with each department to track performance against the budget and will manage the finance team.
- The role will also involve preparing the annual statutory accounts and managing the year end process, as well as produce the monthly management accounts.
- A key facet of this role is to identify opportunities to improve financial systems ad processes, therefore having a tangible impact on the organization.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- The ideal profile would be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with post-qualified experience in a reporting or managing role.
- Prior experience of managing others would be preferable.
