Job Description
Weekly stock reconciliation, financial margin analysis, and gathering all stock financial data to prepare analysis and trend analysis are all part of the job.
Analyze period-to-period fluctuations and provide insightful commentary on key business drivers; respond to inquiries through research and analysis in a timely manner.
Work closely with other Finance functions and teams that run the supply chain to provide additional insight into financial metrics and to improve processes.
Make recommendations to improve accounting processes to reduce time to close, improve controls, and ensure scalability as the business grows.
Work closely with the Waste team to streamline processes, manage the Company Shop, and reduce waste.
Investigate and resolve inventory inconsistencies, offering solutions and guidance.
Fixed asset owner responsibilities include asset creation, balance sheet reconciliation, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
Conduct variance analysis: explain both positive and negative budget variances.
Take charge of cost center reporting, providing insights on fixed and overhead costs to the management board.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You have ambitions to become a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, etc.)
You’re able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
A critical thinker who is always looking for a more efficient way to complete both your own and the team’s tasks.
Show a passion for working in cross-departmental collaboration, such groups involve projects with operations, procurement, marketing, and colleague’s finance.
Be a strong communicator who gives clear and structured excel recommendations
