Accounts Assistant
Full-time, Contract
Job Description
  • Bank reconciliations including posting of payments, receipts and retentions
  • Preparation of VAT and CIS returns
  • Prepare relevant HMRC submissions
  • Ensure payments are raised in accordance with agreed payment terms with suppliers
  • Monthly Reconciliations such as Debtor and Creditor reports
  • Manage recharge of intercompany costs between subsidiaries
  • Prepare the financial information for the payment of suppliers
  • Support with the production of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules for businesses in the Contracts Division
  • Payroll - processing and submission of weekly subcontractor and monthly payroll
  • Analysis and process staff expense claims
  • Ensure Overhead Costs are allocated correctly and highlight any issues to management
  • Any other duty deemed by the directors to be in the interest of the team in achieving its objectives

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • Available immediately
  • Team player
