Preparing annual statutory accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns for clients;
Completing bookkeeping tasks, including general record keeping and assisting with record keeping using relevant accounting software packages;
Advising and assisting with general ad hoc accounting advice, including offering advice on best practice and recommendations for partner review;
Liaising with clients, other team members, departments and HMRC, dealing with queries as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will be working towards their ACA or ACCA qualifications, and have some previous experience working in an accountancy firm.
The position would suit an excellent communicator, with strong organizational skills who is keen to learn and gain full insight into the world of accounts.
