You will work with different areas of the business to include budgets and spend to deliver our Corporate plan as well as ensure the Group operates within our financial capacity by remaining in compliance with our treasury standards, lender covenants and rating agency metrics. You will also be responsible for assisting the (housing) Development team and Strategic Asset Management team to review investment appraisals.
We are looking for someone who can accurately manage various sources of data input, then consolidate this to prepare a business plan. You must be comfortable with presenting financial data and explaining outputs to non-finance colleagues.
Our ideal candidate has experience (or can demonstrate) the ability to challenge colleagues where required, to ensure that inputs are correct and reflect the actual business positions.
You will have a can-do attitude and will be keen to learn about the social housing sector, including the terminology and systems used. Whilst an ideal candidate has experience within the social housing sector, we do have a comprehensive training package to provide the correct candidate with industry knowledge.
