Handle the weekly and monthly payroll preparation for employees over a number of sites across the UK
Calculating employees hours worked in order to make accurate payments
Deal with a variety of employee payroll queries
Maintain records of any deductions from employees’ payments such as deductions on health care and other deductions like Pay As You Earn (PAYE)
Monitor the electronic timekeeping system
Submit payroll reports and sheets for timely processing of staff salary
The successful candidate;
At least a year’s experience in a payroll department
Excellent communication skills and confident telephone manner to handle a variety of payroll queries
You will have strong Excel skills
