Job Description

You will ensure all client relationships are managed in accordance with the principles of the SF business model, procedures and best practice.

  • Liaise directly with clients to deliver excellent customer service and added value.
  • Propose, negotiate and execute deals for existing clients across the Unitranche and Venture Debt portfolio, including facility amendments, covenant waivers / resets and in-life M&A activity.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end credit process, including negotiating with clients, writing of credit papers, presenting transactions to Credit Committee and completion, including liaising with external legal counsel regarding the preparation and negotiation of facility documentation ensuring this meets the requirements of the Bank.
  • Post new deal execution, you will actively manage ongoing exposures across a variety of Unitranche and Venture Debt Clients. This will include monitoring the performance of counterparties, analyzing complex financial information, and undertaking covenant to identify concerning trends, undertaking credit grading analysis, ownership of annual reviews and considering requested amendments, restructures, and facility enhancements.
  • Participate in rolling out new strategic initiatives for Structured Finance, including compliance, regulatory and risk management oversight, and attend relevant industry events.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in structuring and executing lending transactions
  • Proven knowledge of credit products and bank lending practices
  • In-depth knowledge of cash flow lending transactions, including familiarity with legal documentation
  • Strong understanding of lending practices and credit processes (including structures, risks, covenant requirements, pricing, and competition)
  • Excellent customer service, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Thorough comprehension of credit risk management, credit administration, loan production and servicing
