Job Description

We are looking for a driven individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, supportive, learning environment which delivers real benefits to SCW and its clients through the support and delivery of procurement tasks. The individual would have fantastic customer service skills, a keen eye for detail and excellent IT and Administrative skills.

The post holder will have the ability to work within a team as well as using their own initiative and will be required to undertake a variety of tasks in a quick and efficient manner. The role requires a customer focused approach ensuring the Department's high standard of service is key to strengthening relationships with stakeholders.

Ensuring high standards of performance, quality and responsiveness are achieved and maintained. To be responsible for the delivery of cost-effective procurement solutions via the analysis of procurement spend and management of a team. To measure procurement and financial performance of this spend to ensure that savings are achieved by the utilization of national, regional, or local contracts. To manage and develop procurement policies and procedures to enhance contract coverage and provide specialist support to the Senior Purchasing Manager by managing a range of procurement projects
