Job Description

You will use your commercial awareness and professional expertise, along with leveraging the skills and expertise of others, to deliver the best possible experience and outcomes for our clients. You might own or manage key elements of a client relationship and, with an appropriate level of support, will be expected to proactively identify innovative solutions for your clients and pursue new business development opportunities by utilizing your networks and market knowledge. Our Directors are also either people managers or act as coaches and role models to the Consultants and Analysts in their team. You will be a confident team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise with others, as well as continuing to build your own technical expertise or specialism.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Partner team on clients and BD
  • Leading client relationships and BD initiatives
  • Leading transfer pricing teams across a portfolio of clients
  • Compliance programmes and audit defense
  • Taking part in functional analysis interviews and undertaking economic analyses
  • Reviewing transfer pricing reports based on functional, comparability and economic analyses of the client's business, including using our market leading technology solution
  • Working with senior staff, clients and HMRC in the development of advance pricing agreements and resolution of enquiries
  • Supporting the Transfer Pricing Practice through the development of new services and analytical tools, and the assumption of practice management responsibilities
  • Working with teams across Deloitte Tax & Legal, Consulting, Risk Advisory and Financial Advisory
  • Working with Deloitte member firms across the globe on international projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification - or relevant industry background
  • Client driven with strong commercial awareness
  • Strong communication and leadership skills - both written and oral
  • Able to develop innovative ideas and solutions, with the ability to think around a problem
  • Strong client relationship management skills with ability to develop quality outputs
  • Ability to work in structured Project teams
  • Ability to plan and monitor projects, budget and timescale management and people
  • FS Industry and tax background equally as important as economics
