Job Description
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Processing and reviewing purchase and sales invoices
  • Management accounting - preparation of weekly reports and monthly accounts
  • Credit control
  • Purchase & Sales ledger management including arranging payments
  • Month end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing staff expense claims
  • Month end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of expenses, bank accounts and credit card statements
  • General support and assistance to the team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • AAT
  • QuickBooks
  • Vat Returns
  • At least a grade B or above in GCSE English and Math’s
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within an accounting field within general practice
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online
  • Experience with International Bookkeeping (desirable)
  • Highly proactive and organized - scheduling and keeping deadlines
  • Strong communication and people skills - a positive and approachable attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
