Job Description
- Management of Accounts Payable team
- Management of Revenue and Four-weekly payroll Accounts Assistants
- Management and posting of fixed assets and depreciation, including asset finance
- Review & assist with the production of monthly management accounts
- Responsible for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Responsible for production of monthly payroll on Fourth and associated postings into accounting software
- Responsible for all pension submissions
- Responsible for preparation and submission
- Quarterly VAT preparation and submissions / liaising with HMRC
- Monthly preparation and submissions
- Supplying information as necessary to outsourced capital allowances
- Main contact for Audit/ Corporation Tax
- Ensure continued compliance with current policies and procedures regarding internal financial controls
- Ad hoc project work
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified accountant
- Experience managing a small team
- Hands on approach to SME finances
- Detailed orientated whilst also looking at the wider commercial agenda
