Job Description

This position is fully responsible for all aspects of business and financial planning relating to the operating entity, including the development of short- and long-term financial plans, the tracking of business performance and the development of financial tools and capabilities to enable the team to deliver the business targets. The FP&A Senior Director manages a team of senior financial business partners.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Setting up and leading the process around 3 years value creation planning and coordinating discussions and inputs with key functions involved
  • Manage the forecasts of the financial results on all P&L measures (incl. Cash and Overheads) and continuously track opportunities and risks vs. Plan
  • Act as the "gatekeeper" of changes during each Planning cycle and control the key assumption set.
  • Key member of the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process on operating entity level, providing link between the single steps and taking an active role in generating options to support decision making towards achieving 18-24 months goals.
  • Consolidation of the actual financial results and analyses of deviations versus targets.
  • Business partner– as such supporting in all aspects of financial performance including insights generation from period performance, year-end forecasts, gap closing and margin performance/drivers
  • Analysis of all relevant information to generate insights and drive actions/decision making
  • Establish and drive digital tools/reporting’s and a value creation mindset within the cluster organization
  • Recruit, develop, coach and motivate associates, building an effective team to ensure a high level of performance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Multiple years of diversified financial management experience.
  • Proven success in project and process management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate all levels within the business in order to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Well-developed organization skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.- ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and legal limitations
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial control systems and financial statement preparation, balance sheet and P&L.
  • Have a vision of how to use financial reporting to drive decisions
