Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Director who will provide authoritative and professional operational leadership to the finance and IT functions. Working with the Trustees, the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team, the Finance Director will support the refinement and implementation of the strategy, providing specialist financial advice, enabling the charity to fulfil its mission in a cost effective, financially sustainable manner and deploying wider analytical, communication and commercial skills to help set the organization’s future direction.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have a recognized full accounting qualification, previous experience at Finance Director level or similar in a comparable organization – whether charitable, public or private in nature. You will have excellent leadership skills and experience of managing a team, and involvement in the oversight of an IT function. You will be a value-driven professional, able to exhibit a strong commercial nous but at the same time, willingness, and commitment to support the ethos and values of company.
