Responsible for the planning and prioritizing of the workload of the Finance Department
Continually monitor and update the monthly timetable ensuring adherence to all deadlines both internal to and external to the department
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts and month end file containing all supporting documentation including accruals and prepayments, maintaining the fixed assets register and hire purchase schedules including month end journals. month end stock and reconciliations
Responsible for the smooth running of the credit control function including reminder letter, final reminders, weekly reporting on aged debt and ensuring sales are invoiced throughout the month
Responsible for liaison with auditors at year end and on ad hoc basis when additional technical expertise is required
Preparation of VAT return
Able to respond swiftly to requests from Management and the business
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to work on own with minimal supervision
Strong communicator
Able to priorities and plan
Able to adhere to deadlines
2-3 years strong book keeping experience
Min AAT or part qualified ACCA
Good Excel and Word skills
Knowledge of Pegasus an advantage but not essential
