Job Description
  • Ensuring invoice statements and chasers are sent out
  • Chasing outstanding debt from key customers by telephone
  • Producing Aged Debtors reports and analysis
  • Uploading customer invoice details to credit insurer web portal
  • Managing credit limits and applying for increases when needed
  • Identify refinements of credit-control process to reduce total debtor days
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure customer queries are handled professionally and quickly
  • Maintaining and updating customer information on the database
  • Setting up new customer accounts
  • Payments / Receipts processing
  • Invoice Processing (overheads)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Credit control and general accounts experience
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Understanding of double entry principals
  • Experience of using Sage advantageous
  • Ability work with other finance team members
  • Must be comfortable working as part of a small team within a rapidly growing and developing company. Highly driven, positive attitude and self-motivated problem solver
  • Confidence in person and via the telephone
