Job Description
- Business partnering and building relationships with non-finance stakeholders to understand actuals v budget
- Period end entries
- Journals for stores - property or controllable base i.e electricity, repairs, waste, telephone
- Balance sheet recs associate with cost lines
- Journal entities looking at budgets and last year to explain what happened last year store by store analysis
- Supporting the running of the cost suite
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- To be considered you must be either newly qualified or at the final levels of the ACCA/ACA/CIMA or CA.
- Prior experience of preparing accounts is essential.
- You must also be available to start within two weeks notice.
- Previous experience working within a multi-site or retail brand is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills are key to being able to work closely with senior management across the business, you must also be proactive, naturally curious and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
