Job Description
- Reporting to the Finance Controller, the Financial Accountant will manage the financial accounting tasks related to the month-end close process, ensuring that deadlines are met.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Training towards a recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum three year experience of Financial Accounting and reporting processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present numbers to non- financial colleagues
- A team player with a flexible, "can do" attitude, taking initiative to solve problems
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage a varied workload, able to work independently and priorities tasks.
- Having a "continuous improvement" mind set, questioning processes and investigating better ways of working within the role
- Highly motivated, with the willingness to get more involved as time will allow
- Working knowledge of accounting software packages
- Intermediate Excel skills .
