Assistant Accountant
Full-time, Contract
Job Description

Working in small team and reporting to the Finance Manager duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers
  • Weekly bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with credit control
  • Checking and processing credit card and cash expenses
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Dealing with intrastats and EC sales
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

This search is not limited to any industry. Previous experience and a good team player are key to this recruitment:

  • You will be QAAT
  • Intermediate Excel skills are required (VLookups, Pivot tables etc)
  • Working knowledge of Sage would be an advantage
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own work load is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal skills are essential
