Job Description
  • You will be expected to provide proactive financial business partnering services , lead monthly review meetings with heads to review their financial results, support  heads with budgeting and forecasting, and prepare financial management information for function heads as specified.
  • You will also be responsible for strategic project cost reporting and business partnering for project sponsors and managers, preparing ad hoc analysis of performance and trends, and driving data accuracy and integrity.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive and strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • You will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior partners and directors.
  • Newly qualified member or advanced part-qualified member of an accountancy body - ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Professional services firm experience in finance for an LLP is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels, with the ability to adapt style to different stakeholder groups. An ability to communicate financial information to non-accountants is key.
  • Highly organized, able to forward plan and put together timetables to achieve key deliverables.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Excel.
  • An ability to handle, manage and analyses large quantities of data.
  • Adept in designing analysis and reporting that might contain a mix of visual, written and tabular style data.
  • Possessing a continuous improvement mindset, always curious to consider different or better approaches to processes or problems.
  • High personal integrity and openness combined with commitment to excellent levels of service.
  • Demonstrating a high level of credibility and ability to participate in working relationships with external parties including key suppliers of systems, auditors and other advisors.
  • Experienced in using a variety of different finance systems and able to quickly grasp and learn new systems.
