Job Description
- Prepare various pieces of financial analysis to support strategic decision making across the practice groups including the monthly compilation of the management accounts (together with written commentaries)
- Prove historical trend analysis and model future potential performance based on varying assumptions
- Business partner with senior stakeholders (Partner, Business Managers and Functional Heads)
- Support the Divisional Finance Manager in dealing with ad hoc queries from Partners, Business Managers, Marketing, HR and practice support teams
- Provide support to the Divisional Finance Manager/Business Managers in the planning, quarterly reforecasting and annual forecasting exercises
- Preparation of presentations and data for senior stakeholders
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- A desire to work in an ever-changing environment with lots of ad-hoc requests - you will enjoy a position that is very ad-hoc
- Strong data manipulation and presentation skills with Excel
- Ability to understand business and communicate with both finance and non-finance personnel and senior management
- The role demands a confident, self-motivated approach, commercial acumen and the gravitas to influence and advise key stakeholders
