Job Description
Production of investor relations packs.
Responsibility for responding to and answering queries on the aforementioned reporting packs.
Production of Statutory Financial Statements for the Group's UK subsidiaries.
Assist the Group's auditors to ensure that the yearend audit process runs smoothly
Peer reviewing reconciliations, schedules, notes and other work of other team members
Maintain excellent working knowledge and fully consider the accounting implications of transactions or changes to the operations of the Group in light of these standards.
Supporting technical accounting projects including consultation with other teams throughout the Group and preparation of technical accounting memos and discussion papers.
Supporting the maintenance of Group accounting policies to ensure follows best practice and remain relevant.
Respond to adhoc queries from, and provide support to, Business Partners, Group Tax and Audit Committees.
Ownership of weekly technical intelligence reporting, scanning the horizon for technical and reporting developments.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will be naturally analytical, someone who is confident in acting as a technical accounting advisor to senior stakeholders whilst demonstrating strong practical knowledge .
You will also have experience of using financial modelling systems and reporting packages.
