Planning and conducting audit working papers and assisting with planning and completion
Reporting directly to the audit senior with progress, key findings and budgets;
Liaising with client teams on audit matters, as well as generally to achieve excellent client
service;
Liaising with other teams, such as corporate tax, to ensure a joined-up service is provided;
Documenting and testing client internal systems through walkthrough tests; companies, sole traders and partnerships;
Preparing supporting accounts working papers, summarizing key points for managers and
potential client queries.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will be studying towards their ACA or ACCA qualification and have one to three years' auditing experience.
The person will be proactive, organized and an excellent communicator.
They will have a good technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards, and be commercially minded in their approach to client work and opportunities
