Job Description

The Role

  • General bookkeeping
  • VAT returns, financial statements, accruals and prepayments
  • Monthly payroll completion
  • Processing invoices
  • Credit control
  • Sales and purchase ledger
  • Completion of hands-on tasks
  • Working on own initiative to meet deadlines and confidently communicating with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority

The Person

  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a finance function
  • Able to work in a stand-alone mandate without needing day-to-day support or guidance
  • Hands-on and able to execute a broad range of finance function duties
  • Ideally experience of working directly in an SME environment or supported SME organisations
  • Qualified at AAT or part qualified ACCA or ACA professional qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of Sage
  • Able to work in a demanding, rapidly evolving environment
