Job Description
  • Ensuring all procedures are followed and maintained to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  •  Reconciling supplier statements, bank accounts, Charity credit cards and petty cash
  • Using Xero to process weekly payment
  • To prepare and post journals for receipts.
  • To assist in the processing of invoices, statements, and reminders.
  • This is to include drawing authorized cheques and payments via BACS.
  • To process and reconcile credit card transactions.
  • To match purchase orders with invoices.
  • To assist in the analysis and reconciliation of ledger accounts.
  • To prepare BACS requests for regions.
  • To maintain Admin file for Year end.
  • Liaise with the bank regarding queries on bank account entries.
  • Maintaining utilities records and Contracts.
  • To cover other Accounts Assistant's duties in their absence.
  • To assist in any ad hoc exercises for the Accounts Department.
     

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous purchase ledger experience is essential.
  • You will be resolving supplier queries and working as part of a team, good communication skills are also necessary.
  • You will be computer literate and able to work accurately with excellent attention to detail in a pressurized environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to work with and support an existing team.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Xero, Salesforce, CAT or ATT qualified or qualified by experience.
