Job Description
  • Bookkeeping for UK operation
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Processing and reviewing purchase and sales invoices
  • Management accounting - preparation of weekly reports and monthly accounts
  • Credit control
  • Purchase and Sales Ledger management including arranging payments
  • Month end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing and processing staff expense claims
  • Month end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of expenses, bank accounts and credit card statements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • All round accounts knowledge up to trial balance working either as a Bookkeeper 
  • Intermediate / advanced skills in Excel
  • Good experience with preparing UK VAT returns
  • Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Sage
