Job Description
- Preparing statutory accounts for a portfolio of companies
- Preparing management accounts, including budgeting and forecasting
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, including submission to HMRC
- Training junior members of the team and reviewing their work
- Drafting annual accounts
- Payroll and bookkeeping
- Liaising with clients, including attending meeting and handling queries
- Preparing personal and corporation tax
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A minimum of tw years recent experience working in an accountancy practice
- ACCA or ACA qualification or close to completion
- The ability to prepare and review financial and management accounts
- The ability to prepare and submit VAT returns
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting packages such as Sage and QuickBooks
