Taking responsibility for producing annual business plans.
Deliver and agree financial plans, budgets and controls which meet growth and return on capital requirements.
Take responsibility for maintaining/improving financial operating controls, processes, policies and systems, and ensuring ongoing continuous improvement.
Review and implement investment strategies for the overall organization, as well as controlling corporate asset investments.
Support financial management team with all aspects of financial planning to ensure business plans remain on track and are achieved.
Evaluate business proposals and projects, ensuring commercial risk is weighed up before progressing.
Participate as a key member of the executive team, whilst being actively involved in analyzing and helping to resolve major strategic, operating and financial issues.
Act as a key contact with defined benefits pension scheme trustees.
Deputies for the CEO when needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACA , CA or ACCA Qualified Accountant.
Prior experience as a Company Secretary or acting Company Secretary.
Excellent eye for detail, with significant analytical experience is essential.
Previous pensions experience is essential.
Strong people management skills, with prior experience managing teams both within finance and across the wider business.
Driven, ambitious and approachable with the desire to work as part of a senior leadership team.
