Job Description
- Leading on all Year End statutory and management reporting and analysis
- Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of process to drive improvement throughout the business in alignment with business strategy, change and continuous improvement.
- Produce Balance Sheet, Cash flow and I&E commentary for statutory and management reporting and recommend improvements / controls.
- Ultimate accountability for the close of all ledgers during the year / month end process, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place and adhered to
- Proactively develop and lead the relationship with key internal (Finance Leadership Team, Senior Leadership Group) and external stakeholders (auditors, advisors, regulators) where appropriate.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Have experience leading and managing a team
- Have experience with a controllership role
- Be a strong communicator, and be confident to assess processes whilst being able to make improvements
- Experience within property/housing will be highly beneficial
