Job Description
  • Non -Trade payment and Non-Trade receivable workflow creation and administration
  •  Create and maintain customer/supplier vendor codes
  •  Create and maintain customer/supplier bank registration
  •  Process general administrative work supporting parent company accountants
  •  Completing basic reporting tasks
  •  Assisting with month end processes
  • Other back office accounting tasks (manual entries into accounting system, accruals/deferrals, VAT conversions etc)
  • Bookkeeping functions within Sage 300 program for subsidiary companies
  • Inputting data for multiple countries in multiple currencies
  •  Back office support of parent company's risk management function
  •  Final control checks of outgoing payments on behalf of offices within Europe, Middle East and Africa region
  •  Providing an excellent service and building relationships with colleagues across the region

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Education requirement is a minimum of GCSE A-C in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office package, especially Excel
  •  Eye for detail essential for high numeracy and accuracy
  •  Effective problem-solving skills to assess problems, ask questions, brainstorm for options and search for solutions
  •  Works well within a team
  •  Entry Level accountancy experience/qualifications are advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to learn relevant systems/databases
