Assistant Accountant

Job Description
Maintaining both accounts payable and receivable functions
Bank and supplier statement reconciliations
Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
Credit Control
Dealing with monthly payroll
Monthly reporting
Being the main contact for external audit at year end
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will ideally have Sage system experience and be confident when dealing with people both internally and externally - a good communicator who is naturally organized.
You may be AAT qualified or studying but have some good varied hands on experience within an accounts function.
