Job Description
- Preparation of consolidated management accounts
- Posting journals , calculating accruals, lease incentives, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting management agent rent and service charge statements.
- Preparation of quarterly and monthly UK VAT returns
- Preparation and submission of CIS returns
- Prepare statutory accounts and manage the year-end audit process
- Assist with any other ad hoc client requests
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a significant number of years in a similar role
- Excellent overall accounting skills
- Property Accounting experience, fund accounting not client accounting
- Experience of VAT is essential, and CIS would be highly advantageous
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Strong attention to detail, be diligent and precise in how you deliver work
- Ability to continue to drive efficiencies and assist Financial Controller in managing deadlines.
- Need to be able to take ownership and multi task.
