Inputting of purchase and sales invoices, including, insurance, utilities
Banking and arranging payments
Taking accounts to a trial balance stage
Chasing debtors using our bespoke software
VAT Returns
Sales ledger and credit control including all cash allocation
Administration of expense claims
Administration of petty cash
Ad-hoc project work as required by the company
Administration of PAYE and company pension
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be an all-rounder, outgoing, with a minimum of three years' experience and qualifications in Bookkeeping and be happy to be involved in all aspects of the business
AAT qualified, or working towards
Working knowledge of accounts
Experience working with SAGE 50 Professional, with Foreign Currency (essential)
An experienced Excel user/computer literate
Experience with working in foreign currencies
Enthusiastic and self-motivated team player
Calm, organized with an ability to work on your own and to deadlines
Strong communication skills
With the majority of customers being located outside the UK, a second language would be beneficial but not essential
Due to the rural location a full driving license and use of a car is essential
