Job Description
- Carrying out the bank reconciliation of the organizations four main bank accounts, including two within the school and one subsidiary
- Reconciling and posting all company card transactions to the nominal ledger
- Setting up of new suppliers and processing staff expense claims
- Reviewing the purchase ledger system for overdue invoice approvals and raising invoices for lettings where required
- Raising internet bank payments and posting them to the nominal ledger
- Creating and recording interbank transfers
- Administering the general insurance and motor insurance, including claims
- Posting petty cash transactions to the nominal ledger
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping position
- Experience and knowledge of bank reconciliations and budgeting
- Proactive and collaborative worker with the ability and drive to problem solve and find solutions
- Intermediate level of IT, including Excel
- Strong communication skills with excellent organization
