Job Description
- Supporting the accounting of investment vehicles as prepared by service providers
- Support the audit of funds in various jurisdictions
- Review of financial statements
- Management fee calculations
- Reviewing distribution calculations
- Develop knowledge of tax and compliance requirements across jurisdictions
- Compliance reporting and regulatory filings
- Respond to investor queries about their holdings, performance, distributions
- General oversight of internal controls and financial risk management
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Newly or part-qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA)
- Three years of experience preferably in private equity or venture capital
- Knowledge of fund structures, products, and instruments highly advantageous
- Strong organization skills with the ability to think proactively and spot opportunities for efficiency
- Ability to show initiative and be proactive rather than reactive
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
