Prepare, send and submit accounts and tax returns for our clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies up to review stage.
Communicate with clients, including chasing records
To support Client Managers/Accountants onboard new clients and integrate them into their portfolio - this will include bookkeeping, compliance etc to then be handed over to the relevant department.
To complete, review and prepare book-keeping, VAT returns and CIS.
To maintain electronic filing of books and records both internally as well as management of client administration and records.
To act as liaison between clients and HM Revenue and Customs to deal with and resolve queries.
To ensure and update HMRC/Companies House statutory information is accurate.
To attend networking events where required.
To participate and contribute to year end client meetings.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Educated to AAT Level or qualified by experience.
Must be able to prepare accounts two tax returns for clients, Partnerships and Limited Companies to review stage.
Be an effective communicator.
Experience working in accounting practice within the past two years preparing work for multiple clients.
A sound working knowledge of QuickBooks and Xero (desirable).
