Job Description
- Statutory accounting and returns for all group companies
- Group Consolidations for the three main trading businesses
- VAT and Corporation tax returns
- Working capital and treasury management
- Direct line responsibility for three divisional finance managers and a Group Accountant
- Ensure robust and consistent financial controls and procedures are in place across all operating companies
- Involvement in the financial processes integration of newly acquired businesses
- Key point of contact for external auditors
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- An experienced Financial Controller with group reporting skills ideally gained in an international manufacturing business
- Someone who thrives in an environment where there is significant opportunity to improve financial controls and processes
- Able to get into the detail but remain strategic and able to resolve issues with sustainable solutions
- Great team leadership and people development skills
- Able to plan effectively and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Strong IT system knowledge
