Job Description
- Monthly management accounts -It will be responsible for producing monthly reports to the senior team and parent company.
- Statutory and Audit - you will work with and provide information to accountants in each of the overseas countries who do the statutory reporting and tax calculations, and there will be an audit on the UK books after year end where you will be the primary contact for the business.
- Payables, Receivables - Responsible for controlling and overseeing all payables and receivables, ensure accurate records, management and follow up. Supported by Finance Admin, making sure suppliers and staff expenses are paid on time and cash is collected promptly is a priority.
- Banking - they have a number of bank accounts, plus debit and credit cards that will need to be managed and administered.
- Payroll - Responsible for managing the payroll process, and link up with the Head of People and payroll providers in each country to ensure their accuracy and that payments are made on time.
- Bill backs - intercompany recharges - Responsible for all cross office billing as they work together on projects.
- Accruals and deferrals - It will work with the wider team to calculate Income and Cost of Sales accruals / deferrals for recognition purposes and calculate / post the appropriate journals by office and specialism.
- Finance performance tracking - Responsible for tracking bonus and financial performance of the teams and specialisms.
- You may get ad hoc requests from all parts of the business at any time
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Quickbooks, Excel and Google Sheets are used - experience of building and operating large spreadsheets using data from QB would be a distinct advantage.
- They report across six countries and four specialisms, experience of consolidating a complicated company structure would be ideal.
- Managing a (proactive) Finance Administrator, people management would be another useful part of your skill set.
- Experience of working in a creative, project based environment is important
