Job Description
- Provide finance business collaborating for key functional stakeholders including support with key business decisions.
- Provide overall financial insights into business drivers in order to deliver and develop the department strategic objectives.
- Accountable for collaborating with the finance team to ensure the finance processes reflect accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Preparation of month end commentary and project reporting, providing insights and suggestions.
- Investigates and questions reported trends with stakeholder groups and implements mid to short term plans to maximize performance.
- Challenge unusual movements, forecasts and fluctuations to ensure forecast and actual financial performance is robust.
- Support the Finance Director and Senior Business Partner by producing complex/bespoke analysis.
- Assist business operations to manage financial governance and risks and controls as outlined by group policies.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
- Proven and demonstrable business partnering experience or technical role within a large organization.
- Strong analytical skills; an ability to interpret complex financial data and convert into meaningful business information.
- Good communication skills with the ability to present plans and challenge both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
