Financial Accountant
Full-time, Temporary
Job Description
- Month-end close activities: journal entries, producing management accounts etc.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Cashflow forecasting, reviewing payment runs and authorizing payments.
- Providing information needed for the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and helping to produce financial statements.
- Supporting audit requests from the external auditors.
- VAT return preparation and filing.
- Assisting with any special projects and ad-hoc reporting requirements as and when they may arise.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant or QBE
- Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A good communicator with effective influencing skills.
- Ability to deliver to tight/moving deadlines without compromising quality
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
- Detailed knowledge of VAT (UK and European)
- Confident working in a dynamic fast paced atmosphere and calm under pressure.
