Job Description
- Preparing basic client management accounts & financial statements for Manager sign-off
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards around fixed assets and depreciation, stock, accrued/deferred income, accruals
- Compiling information for personal & corporate tax returns required by the Tax team, along with advisory work for discussion with Managers
- Preparing statutory accounts & VAT returns for review by Managers and forwarding to clients for sign-off, then submitting them online to HMRC
- Assisting with special project assignments, ownership of agreed budgets and meeting client deadlines.
- Point of contact for clients and other third-party stakeholders, with direct contact at Finance Manager level
- Ensuring all team work is carried out profitably and on a timely basis in accordance with the firm’s standards
- Assisting with promoting other service lines within the firm and attending external business seminars/events as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- ACCA
- Financial Accounting

- You should be at least AAT Qualified or ideally ACCA Finalist (or Qualified Accountant), with at least two years experience in an Accountancy Practice / Accounting Firm.
