Job Description
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, making payments, and chasing overdue payments.
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Producing financial reports for the senior management team, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Supporting the Finance Director in managing the year-end audit process.
- Liaising with external advisors, including auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and legislation.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong experience in a finance role, preferably within an events or related industry.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
