Job Description
- Overseeing month and year end close
- Producing monthly management account packs and reproves
- Posting prepayments and accruals
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable
- Reviewing reconciliations prepared by Accounts Assistant
- Reviewing the fixed asset balance sheet control account reconciliation
- Managing the fixed asset register
- Running monthly depreciation routine
- Preparing annual statutory accounts
- Prepare corporate tax and VAT returns
- Supporting wider finance function and Accounting Manager
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA equivalent finalist (actively studying)
- Strong experience with management and statutory accounting
- Strong understanding of VAT
- Experience with multi-currency
- Experience using accounting systems
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to start immediately
