Prepare statutory accounts at both company and Group level, including consolidations
Assist in ensuring that the internal systems and controls in place are appropriate for the size and complexity of the company, and when necessary, drive improvement.
Oversee the audit process with external auditors
Accept responsibility for group reporting on a quarterly basis. Responsible for all tax compliance within the company, coordinating with the Group accounting team to ensure that all deadlines are reached.
Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations monthly, ensuring that working papers are completed to a high standard
Oversee new projects within the finance team to automate processes
Prepare all of the quarterly VAT returns
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACA or ACCA qualified with proven experience
You are resilient, adaptable, and can effectively navigate through both anticipated and unexpected challenges.
You’re great at manipulating data with strong Excel skills and apply a strong commercial mindset to all that you do.
You have an appreciation of and desire to learn about new technology, able to recommend or assist in implementing solutions that will help achieve the business’ objectives.
