Ensure the preparation of timely and accurate monthly accounts and reports for operational management
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company in accordance with the relevant accounting principles and legislation
Play an active role in assisting management in the risk assessment process and embedding a risk management culture
Identify and evaluate areas for improvement of profit with particular regard to cost reductions and methodology
Liaise with different departments to ensure the finance department is properly supporting the needs of the operating business
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified accounts individual or someone with similar experience.
You will be familiar the entire month end process, budgeting and forecasting and be comfortable communicating with finance and non finance people alike, as well as having experience on a number of finance systems and Excel.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a flexible work approach.
