Financial Accountant

Job Description
- Operating and overseeing day to day financial operations, transactions, and systems
- Preparation of management accounts to be produced as and when required but typically for management committee meetings and after festivals
- Production of cash flow forecasts for the whole company
- Managing the annual compliance process including accounts preparation and corporation tax
- Managing the recruitment of staff for the finance team and supervision of staff
- Reconciliation of cash and card transactions at events with onsite paperwork and bank statements
- Preparing annual accounts for examination and liaising with the accountant as required
- Processing VAT returns, bank reconciliation, budgets, and purchase orders
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Finance Manager
- Management Accountant
- Qualified or part qualified Accountant
- General finance background
- Relevant experience with budgeting and payroll
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
