Assisting managers by carrying out all aspects of accounts work, including planning jobs, liaising with clients, completion of accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns along with monthly and quarterly bookkeeping
Preparing and managing budgets
Providing feedback to managers with any issues, presenting managers with a completed file and putting through any final adjustments as necessary
Involvement with client meetings
Reviewing the work of juniors and mentoring and supporting them to ensure high quality output of the team and effective staff development
Regular liaison with corporate and personal tax staff
Assisting clients with accounting software as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with significant experience gained within UK practice
Have strong technical accounts knowledge and a drive to build on this knowledge
Advanced knowledge of small businesses and current legislation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability and willingness to nurture junior team members
