Job Description
- Active role in budget monitoring ensuring value is added throughout the process.
- Communicating financial data in simple terms and present information to seniors
- Support the significant service transformation to ensure that the current overspend is managed and mitigated.
- Supporting delivery of the saving programmer
- Financial modelling and appraisals
- Robust financial analysis for small projects
- Manage two Assistant Accountants
- Produce accurate forward looking projections
- Good business collaborating/stakeholder management as will directly be liaising with service managers and non-finance teams.
- Standard accounting tasks, such as grant returns.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous Financial Accountant Experience or similar
- Previous local government/not-for-profit experience
- Proven financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and Written communication skill
